National PTA Art Reflections
Due date: Oct. 23rd  


Art Reflections is an annual national PTA art competition where all children are celebrated and recognized for their creativity.  

There are six categories to choose from: Dance/choreography; literature; music composition; film production; photography; visual arts (2D & 3D).  

Submission bin will be available at the office starting Oct. 12th.  

Before you start! 

1) Fill out the submission form 

2) Review your child's choice of category's RULES for submission as well as general rules.   


Theme Search: National PTA Art Reflections committee selects a theme from children's submissions.  Use the attached form to submit your child's idea! If selected, your child will receive $100 and inspire children all across the country!

Gala: Council district wide gala will be held at Milikan Junior High on November 13th.  6PM.  All participants will receive a ribbon of recognition and enjoy music, food and seeing their own art exhibited! Winners will be announced and will move onto compete at district, state and national level. 

Helpful Hints

  • Write your child's name or title on the BACK of the art, not the front. 
  • Solo submission only.  Other performers/ participants are permitted but must obtain consent from each. 
  • 2D piece must be flat and thin.  Thicker than few pages or collaged items will be considered 3D and will required photo submission. 
  • Submission form is required - give thoughts to statement about how the theme relates to the work.
  • No commercial character or logo. 
  • All identifiable persons in the art (ex. photo of group of people) must fill out a consent form. 
  • Literature has 2000 words limit.
